B CORP
When we became Europe's first and only plant-based cheese B Corp in 2022, we were not expecting to receive the highest score in the world for a plant-based cheese company. But here we are - humbled, proud and inspired to continue our journey!
We will continue to use business as a force for good.
MOTHER NATURE CEO
At the beginning of 2020 we appointed Mother Nature as our CEO. She’s been the one calling the shots from that moment forward. We too need to be held to account by the planet. When faced with a decision, if it's going to harm the planet, we keep searching for a better option. After all we have to keep the CEO happy!
WHY BEANS
After ditching the cashews (not as sustainable as we thought!) we searched high and low for a new base ingredient. That quest led us to the humble bean. Now over 80% of our range is based on beans and pulses resulting in better nutrition and much better emissions!
TRANSITIONAL FARMING
At Willicroft we go beyond making delicious plant-based cheese. We want to play a part in changing the food system for good, that’s why we started our transitional farming project in 2022.
