Mother Nature CEO

“The environment is not a trend, nor is eating more plants.

The environment is the reason we’re in business, not part of it. Many companies have great intentions or talk about impact when it's convenient, but soon get distracted by their bottom line.

At the beginning of 2020, we appointed Mother Nature as our CEO. She’s been the one calling the shots from that moment forward. We too need to be held to account by the planet and implement long-term thinking into our decision making. How that looks in practice is simple: When faced with a decision, if we feel it's going to have an adverse effect on the planet, we keep searching for a better option.”

Throughout the past year, we’ve been sharing ideas through our Mother Nature LinkedIn page. The idea behind this has always been to create and share content that is relevant to Mother Nature herself. We’ve hosted plenty of post series on topics such as biodiversity and regenerative agriculture, two of the most important topics in our eyes.

Writing on behalf of Mother Nature

We try to create engaging content that revolves around Mother Nature. The way we see Mother Nature is as the diversity of life that sustains us and everything around us. Recognizing that none of our lives would be possible without her, our raison d’etre at Willicroft is to do our best to respect and give back to Mother Nature herself.

That’s why we’ve decided to celebrate Earth Day 2021 by launching a campaign where we try to get as many companies as possible to appoint Mother Nature as their CEO. Brands who join this campaign commit to:

Appoint Mother Nature as their CEO on socials.
